Fiji Short Adze Blade ex Grünewald coll.

A short adze blade of the classical Fijian type consisting of a finely polished basalt blade of squared section tapering narrowly towards each extremitiy. The cutting edge is remarkably small compared to the adzes of other neighboring cultures.
